Fair Use & Platform Limits
Last Updated: March 2026
Effective Date: 2026-02-20
This policy defines product usage boundaries and platform-related limitations. It is not related to copyright fair use doctrine.
ReleaseRockIt is built to help independent musicians release their music professionally without gatekeepers.
All plans include full access to the platform. Pricing is based on how many Releases you can create, not on limiting features.
"Unlimited refinement" applies within a single Release and remains subject to reasonable usage limits and system integrity protections.
To keep the platform fair and sustainable for everyone, please review the guidelines below.
1) What Is a Release?
A Release represents one distinct musical release (one track).
Within a Release, you may:
- Regenerate content as many times as needed.
- Experiment with different tones, moods, and angles.
- Refine captions, press copy, and marketing story.
- Create multiple versions for different platforms.
Iteration is encouraged.
However, a Release is not intended to be reused for multiple unrelated songs.
2) Acceptable Use
You may:
- Adjust positioning and strategy within the same release.
- Generate multiple versions while refining your launch.
- Edit and update release details as your vision evolves.
You may not:
- Use one Release to create marketing kits for multiple different songs.
- Share accounts between multiple users.
- Automate, scrape, or script excessive usage.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits.
If your release volume exceeds your current plan's capacity, upgrading ensures uninterrupted access.
3) Usage Monitoring
To maintain fairness and platform stability, ReleaseRockIt may monitor usage patterns.
We also use automated abuse prevention systems to detect unusual activity, bot-like behavior, scraping attempts, and repeated attempts to bypass platform limits.
If activity suggests intentional misuse or attempts to circumvent plan limits, we reserve the right to:
- Issue a warning.
- Temporarily restrict access.
- Require plan upgrade.
- Suspend or terminate accounts in cases of repeated abuse.
Our goal is to protect the platform, not restrict creativity.
4) Built on Trust
ReleaseRockIt is designed with trust in mind. Most musicians use the platform responsibly, and we aim to keep enforcement simple and reasonable.
If you ever have questions about usage, just reach out. We're building this together.
